Purple Angelite is a rare and less common variation of the mineral anhydrite, which typically appears in light blue or gray-blue tones. The purple version, while often marketed as "Purple Angelite," is either a naturally tinted form (from trace mineral content) or sometimes mislabeled/lab-enhanced blue angelite or similar-looking stones like purple chalcedony or lepidolite. It has a Mohs hardness of about 3–3.5, making it relatively soft and delicate.
Metaphysically, Purple Angelite is associated with divine connection, spiritual guidance, and peaceful communication. It resonates with both the third eye and crown chakras, and the purple hue adds a deeper layer of spiritual awareness and psychic sensitivity.
